That's a sweet project.

It would be great to have a list of pistols and the required wood blank sizes. I plan on milling quite a lot of black walnut this summer/fall, and occasionally put some other exotic species through.

In the past, the small pieces have vastly outnumbered my projects for them so they end up heating the shop the next winter, sometimes even with fantastic figure.

Does anyone know of a list of pistol handle blank sizes so I can have some ready for some of WaGunners' future projects?

I don't know but a set of black walnut would look super sexy on a stainless frame!

Get me some numbers Sergey. I won't have time to mill before the 2A Rally on Saturday, but will definitely cut some bone dry pieces by the Tacoma Gun Show (26-27 April.)

Are you going to either?

I need to make it to that Tacoma show. Doubt I'll find anything worth while but I need to meet some good WaGunners there! :thumbsup2:

Beautiful grips Brian! I just now bought a K2 45, and found this thread… Do you still make grips? If so, I might be interested in purchasing from you.

Thanks,
Chris

Thanks! I only ever made the 1 set of grips for myself, and still have them on my K2. I have seen other wood grips made by a place by ksd grips since then, but they're currently not available.
