Got a 1942 Nambu rifle company div of Nagoya arsenal Type 14. It survived a fire an someone tried shooting it after shearing a lug. This thing has had a rough life an is the first shot out nambu I've seen. Wear on sear an bore is impressive. So what to do..22lr of course. Rust blued it last night before I had the idea.. so now I need to make a chamber adapter, line bore an chamber. Build extractor and offset firing pin. Modify ejector and last challenge..see if I can make Ruger mk1 mag work as a insert to an original mag that is compromised. Should be fun.

I’m impressed, and the project isn’t even started yet! Eager to see progress reports!

Tap fit into the barrel an chamber. Breech sits inside original bolt face. Extractor will be easy. Off set firing pin is now the challenge.
