Out of the junk bins. 1 Springfield 1903 low serial receiver. 1 unsafe for 3006 cracked and repaired stock and handguard. Add in a Douglas match 22lr barrel blank contoured to match, and a brand new 1922 bolt assembly. And all of a sudden I got a time whore that's gonna be fun. 6 hours in so far. Now waiting on more parts to finish this build.

Drill rifle receiver that was cracked in the ring. So I got it hot drilled an tig'd the crack an gave it a good smash with a 4lb hammer ( USMC proof test from after WW1 haha) didn't shatter so it will work for 22lr. I can't see spending 3000$ on a real one so this will do fine. If it shoots like it should I'll probably take it to the cmp match for fun.
