MR TCB's blog often makes me question my priorities... Some really beautiful work. I appear to be an outlier here, but the Sherriff's model is the least interesting to me. I vote for full restore.

same with the sides of the frame The biggest roadblock to me taking up restoration jobs- a slight phobia regarding removing too much material. I have a conservative voice in my head that says "any removal, however slight, weakens the structure." Do you have a method of determining how much you can remove Casey? Also, can you see any ratio differences (height/length, etc) after the most severe job you've done?
