1) Buy a larger press that can accommodate large dies, and reload for it properly. Of course, buying a press for a single rifle seems ridiculous, so maybe I'll need to buy a 50BMG rifle as well. :wink05:
-or-
2) Do the quick-and-easy reloading method, sans press: https://www.trackofthewolf.com/Categori ... 577-SNIDER

Can you guess which way I'm leaning?

Steve, if you buy the press I will buy one of the Muskets. The Minnie ball rounds are a must.

I hate the fact you are buying these when I've fought the urge for so long. It's making it harder to do. Well it would be harder if my wallet was open for buying guns.

Well, the Brunswick arrived a couple of days ago and it looks pretty much like the picture on the IMA website that I posted above.

Here's a pic and a movie showing mine:

What's the bayonet handle made out of?

There are two types, brass and steel:

This appears to be the steel one based on the handle shape . . . but at this point (uncleaned), brass and steel all look the same.

Well . . . I'm a frickin' n00b here, without a clue. I'll certainly document some of what I do, right or wrong, but if you want to see something that will keep your interest check out these two restorations, both by the same guy:
