I'll add a trio of S&W's. Top is 629 (.44Mag), middle is a 625-3 (.45ACP) and bottom is a 646 (.40S&W).

If it's not marked with a model # on the frame when you open the cylinder, it's a K-38 Combat Masterpiece, though I'm pretty sure the orange ramp sight is not from that era (model numbers began in '57). Maybe a replacement barrel or front sight?
