I found this sucker on the internet and transferred it through Rehv Arms . . . I just couldn't resist. Price was $400.

It started life as a Czech VZ-24 Mauser in caliber 8mm Mauser, and then had a Rhineland Arms conversion kit installed. Now it's chambered in .45 ACP and uses 1911 mags! :thumbsup2: It has a 16" threaded barrel, a Mojo MicroClick rear sight, and a tell Swedish front sight blade; the intent is to have high sights on there so they will clear a suppressor.

Here it is all by its lonesome:

And here it is with the Octane 45 suppressor, and next to a standard VZ-24 Mauser:

Next order of business . . . choot it.

Solves the problem of trying to get the bullet between the Skyscreens and above the Chronograph.

Some people have trouble with that.

The Rheinländer kit is a good one, but the extractor replacement they provide is a bit on the weak side.

Fortunately, it is just a piece of spring steel, and a beefier cross section replacement can be easily fashioned that has a thicker spine, and will last a lot longer as a result.

Cool tool project post with pics coming up in 3..2.....1...........

There's this big gray area where intelligence and "because I can, that's why" come together. I'm pretty sure that gray area is known as "Fuck, I dunno why but that's cool." Yup. That's cool.
