Thought I would post my 6.5 Grendel build. I am planning a wyoming hunt next year and wanted to build a rifle specifically for that hunt. Her she is:

- Lantac USC side charging billet upper
- Young Manufacturing side charging hard chrome BCG
- JP 6.5 enhanced bolt
- Christensen Arms 20" carbon fiber barrel
- BCM ambi charging handle
- Fortis Night Rail 16" MLOK
- Precision Armament M41 Severe-Duty Duty brake
- Accu-Tac SR-5 bipod

Lower is in progress now....waiting on a bonus from work to complete it. I will update when progress is made. Let me know what ya think

Looks nice so far! I do wonder if a brake like that is overkill for the 6.5 Grendel, and might just make it obnoxiously loud. I don't have much experience with Grendel, though.

What will you be hunting with it?

I thought the same about the brake....it looked way smaller when I was doing research. When I received it I was a bit bummed and thought about exchanging it for a Griffin Armament that was way smaller. However it is growing on me and I think I'll leave it where it is at. I will be hunting antelope mostly....I'm going with a friend that does this yearly and he picks them off at ranges of 500-650 yards

Ohhhhhh I like talking about glass. It will be sporting a Vortex Viper in a Warne R.A.M.P with a canted Vortex Venom reflex sight as backup. I'm still deciding between 3-9 or 4-16....

That's sick. The m11 brake is smaller.
