So I have been looking for a 44 Mag revolver for my hiking gun and in general outdoors Sidearm. I had had a deal lined up for a Taurus Tracker that fell through then had cash ready to buy a Redhawk and the seller backed out. I had shot a email to a guy on armslist with a "generic" looking .44 Magnum Revolver and he agreed to trade for my brand new .22 plus a ton of ammo. He said it was an interarms Revolver, I did research but came up with little about this gun however it looked like a solid and well made gun. When I got home from the trade and really started examining the gun. I found under the rubber Hogue grips a ASTRA Logo and with a little research I found I had actually traded for a ASTRA Terminator .44 Revolver of Dusk Till Dawn Fame. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jdtZGUztjPs/T ... l-dawn.jpghttp://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/dus ... 0625025837http://cdn3-www.comingsoon.net/assets/u ... header.jpgLooking Forward it taking it to the range. Does anyone have any experience with these Revolvers?

Surprise revolver is much better than surprise buttsex.
Nice little piece.

Yep that's George Clooney's gun. I put one of these in my soon-to-be-available book.

I am kinda torn, it is clearly a really nice revolver, super smooth trigger and built like a tank. However it feels like a collectors piece more than a trail gun.

I can't think of a single Spanish made revolver that's collectible. Before the Spanish civilian arms market imploded, they filled the niche that Taurus and Rossi now do...second fiddle to Colt, S&W, and Ruger. Not saying you don't have a great gun, you do, but it's a shooter.
Blued trail guns, best thing to do is get all the oil/grease/lube off the outside, then apply a coat of wax (Renaissance is the best stuff, but even car wax is OK). Then, silicone or lubricant over that. It's a bit of work but keeps you from having a rusty gun here in WA.

Thanks for the tips, I will look into that, All I meant was that these are apparently a bit more valuable than I had thought. I currently use EEZOX for maintenance but I will pick up some wax. Thanks
