That CZ SP-01 has been next to my bed for more than 5 years now. She doesn't get out as much as the 45s do. Reloading 9mm is a pain in the ass compared to 45acp IMHO. I like CZ 9mms because they fit my hand like a 1911, but hold 20 rounds of heat. Now say "Pew" twenty times fast. ...and no, the ponies don't mind at all.

Thanks, it's actually not white though. Just a black and white photo. No white paint right now but I'll be getting some. It's red for now.

I'm making some sights for the 75, so those are off for now.
The 75 used to have a black paint finish, but I ran it through an ultrasonic cleaner and it all came off.
It looked like someone dropped while mountain climbing, dings, nicks, and one big gouge i still haven't been able to get out. Bought it dirt cheap bout 8yrs ago.

Yes i used flat red testors model car paint.
Filled the roll marks with a squeegee motion using a toothpick. Let it tack up and then use clp on a pad to wipe it off all the high spots. Have to use a bit of elbow grease and for the really high spots i just scratched it off with my thumbnail and it'll eventually come clean with hopefully all of it still in the roll marks. Also the heavy duty gun cleaner that is like brake clean will take the model paint right out of the roll marks.

Here are my three flavors of VZ-2008 (VZ-58) rifles.

Top: FAB Defense furniture and a modified Killer Innovations brake. I modified the stock so it will fold to the right rather than the left, because in the original configuration the stock hinge "hump" was right in front of my nose, and smacked me while shooting.
Middle: Side-folding stock with some paracord added.
Bottom: Fixed stock . . . awesome rifle. thumbsup

Very nice, I'm jealous that you still have the original grips for your retro. Mine came used in hogue's.
