That might be just the ticket....

I got a JPoint red dot sight with a picatinny rail adapter for mine.

It bothers me to have a round red dot on a gun with all straight lines :facepalm2:

I tried that Fortis on Steve's Scoprion and did not care for it. Vertical feels better for me.
Got mine out of jail and had trevor engrave it yesterday. Then dressed her up with a vertical I had laying around and had a little 3way stamp party.

Whatcha think?

Honestly, it's not quite as comfortable as the VFG, but it still feels pretty good.

Now we're talkin! I like how the angle on the vfg comes close to the angle of the pistol grip. That's hilarious you just had one sitting in a box. You've probably lost more gun parts than I've bought :ROFLMAO:

I had to come back to this thread because I bought a fortis shift today at Rainier Arms after stopping in to see Trevor at Hyperion Precision for some engraving work. This will host the shift VFG when my HK rails show up next week:

It has been a while since I posted car cleaning pictures. However last time, I nearly had an entire AR in spare parts in my cluttered cargo area. I just didnt have the upper receiver.

Gracias amigo! Gotta love the HK's, they have a certain way of making stamped sheet metal look purdy.

I've got an upper. PIF? In please! :ROFLMAO:

And you guys have the right idea. $50 bucks here, $75 bucks there and wife would never know there was a new AR in the safe that arrived in so many pieces.
