Quick web search reveals it was made late 1800's to 1930's, made as a cheap gun...
according to Champion Arms blue book is 280 in excellent condition. The pics look like excellent right?
The good
Barrel interior looks pretty good.
One barrel seems to fire and trigger functions.
Cheap gun that if I mess it up nothing lost.

The bad
One barrel dose not seem to fire with trigger not moving freely.
But stock broken.
Lots of exterior surface rust, with some minor pitting.
Breech opening lever (sounds about right for a guess) is only mechanical part so far that needs to be replaced for sure.

The UGLY.... See pictures above

Very interesting . . . that will be beautiful when you finish with it, I'm sure. :cheers2:

Have you done a restoration project like this before?

I assume that this is NOT safe to fire with modern ammo. Is this correct?

I think you are correct that it is not safe to fire with modern ammo.

Very cool . . . this should be fun! (And frustrating too, I imagine.)

Post pics as you go, and then when you finish! It will be interesting to follow your progress.
