I have 2 'bedside' guns, one is next to the bed in a bio-finger safe and the other is in the office.

The Para Ord P12 .45 cal and a Makarov .380 (the latter within immediate reach in the office)

Not really, I prefer to have a flashlight in my offhand.

Oooh, sweet little pistol. And if you don't kill the bad guy with a bullet, let him take a few shots and the recoil will finish the job! :thumbsup2:

Heres mine currently. FNP 45 tactical with osprey45 and TLR-1s. It has a burris fastfire on it but thats just for fun and i probably wouldnt turn it on (or i might who knows, i practice with it on and off) My Xds45 sometimes shares that space or goes on the dresser instead. Then inside my quick access safe is my Sig p226 9mm and spare mags for all said guns.

But honestly, I have outside access in my room so unless face to face, Im making noise then getting outside.

I have the light on mine. But honestly Im not sure if i would use it or not. Ive done walking around the house both with it on and off and have mixed feelings. In my bedroom I probably wouldnt use it but i have outside light (neighbor has a light on 24/7) that keeps my room light enough to see at night (but dark enough to sleep...only seems light when my eyes are adjusted to the darkness). But if i had to go into my hallway I would turn it on. Plus having white walls, the bright LED on the TLR-1 kind of reflects off the wall a bit.

I also have a nightlight that is motion activated in the hallway. So anyone coming that way into my room is triggering that which will back light the person.

Guess it just depends on the house and area. If i was on 5 acres i wouldnt have the light pollution so id need it.

I would not want to break into his house on purpose or by accident. :whatthe:
