After a fight with my last ex I had to blow off some steam, so I got out a can of brown spray paint and hit my surplus black poly AK handguards. I find brown is an underrated color, it`s practical as OD or Khaki but never gets the representation it deserves. So it made my AKS74 a bit more unique. I took these pics on a whim one night a few months ago, and there`s something about them that I utterly loathe to my very core, on more than an aesthetic level. I think it has something to do with the aggressive, oppressive lighting, the plain background and the cord in the way, along with the rotation adding a bit of vertigo into the mix. Or maybe it`s the aforementioned circumstances under which they were taken? Whatever the answer is, here is a spoilered look at what may be the worst (best) pics I`ve taken.

Dan Wesson's friend arrived last night 2009 JM barreled Marlin 1894 carbine in .44 Magnum/.44 Special. Ghost XS peep, spring kit making the lever easy to throw the lever, and knob-style lever screw which allows takedown to clean without a screwdriver.
