Apologies for the crappy pics, there aren`t any spaces large enough in the house to get the whole rifle in the frame without a dog or cat somewhere in it.

1916 ShT.LE. BSA manufactured, complete with mag cutoff. 3/4 of the wood is Australian made, and dated 1942. Butt is original, and the butt plate screws are 100% mangled. Rifle is completely matching, sans magazine.

yep, I paid $35 for it and it came with a box of Hornady ammo....at the WAC show...so when people say you can't find a bargain, they aint looking hard enough

I inherited a Type 99 Arisaka from Dad. He had the gunsmith set the barrel back and re-chamber it for .308 Win.
The name of the gunsmith per the barrel markings was "RW Lathrop".
Dad made the stock from a mahogany semi-inletted stock from Herter's.
I just load .311 bullets in the .308 case, and it shoots very well.

This one is not super old, from 1969, a Mossberg model 800, I cleaned it up for my neighbor and my Father decided he had to have it
