I had a couple stencils made and just stained the area with straight dark brown. Ive applied 2 coats of linseed so far... i cant get the shine you have. I did notice all the imperfections came out by doing the oil but it goes with the old worn look. Thanks again for the idea!

Ruger 10/22 in a Boyds thumb hole stock. TS200S tech sights. Volquartsen target hammer and trigger kit. Nylon buffer. Extended bolt handle. Nothing special. If I could put the tech sights on a more accurate barrel, I'd probably do that, but it suits my needs for now.
