No line at the gate, WAC member line is just to the inside door. Maybe 30 minute wait, not horrible. Place is busy at 10:00, but not packed.

The wife and I took our time and saw every table in about five hours. I saw exactly ONE wagons.org hat, but whoever it was must have been on a mission because he was literally running from one side of the showroom to the other. Couldn't tell if he was running TO or AWAY from something. ;)
We were there when LC Sport was asked to shut down. It didn't seem right to me, so I said something to the vice president of WAC, telling her that the entire reason I decided to give my money to WAC this year was to buy from LC Sport, if they were being asked to leave, then so too was my membership. WAC will do whatever they need to do, but those guys at LC always treated me right, so I tried to do the same by them.

I overheard a couple guys talking about someone selling guns inside to non-WAC members. No names were mentioned though.

yeah, I was there right when they started to pack up...not sure if Craig was involved or if it was one of his people working the tables.
So did he get banned for life or just that show??

Craig had just started my transaction when a lady walked up and started talking to him. From what I overheard (it happened right in front of me) either he or his other table group completed a pickup of a gun to a non member; processed him through, signed, and out the door. Like I said, it didn't feel right so I said something to the slowly increasing number of official looking WAC people after my transaction was completed.
You know how people act when they've been caught doing something wrong, or when they 'play dumb', or when they're trying to outright deny something? I wasn't picking up any of that. What I picked up was more 'this doesn't make sense.' As I said, these guys have always done right by me.

I wondered why they were all packed up yesterday afternoon. I heard about the problem this morning from the table next to me. Over the last year, they've increased their presence at the shows - they probably have twice as many tables as they used to have.

I personally caught the old timer with no membership, trying to leave the show with two pistols.
The story is, he bought one pistol at a different gunshow the previous weekend and came to the WAC show to pick it up. That's not a problem, as long as the vendor tells us so we can escort the gun purchaser to the exit so he can secure his weapon. Craig never informed anyone at WAC about any pickup of a firearm by a non-member. The problem was, while there picking up the firearm, Craig sold the guy another firearm on the spot...
Craig will have his chance to plead his case to the board of directors, if he wishes to do so.

Craig will have his chance to plead his case to the board of directors, if he wishes to do so. Now if only the Government would enforce the existing laws re: Guns with the same vigor as WAC does. As for the vendor, If all is as was reported then double dumb on them. Not a great time to be ignoring the "Rules" at a gun show designed to keep those who are prohibited from obtaining firearm doing so. With the likes of Mark Kelley trying to show how "easy" it is to obtain a firearm I wouldn't put it past some from the anti-gun community to test the rules, even be "taping" the transaction with hidden cameras. I'm no longer a WAC member but have no issue with their firm enforcement of the rules. Too much for all of us to lose by not.

Thank you for the clarification, I saw the "bluster and bullshit" --the vendor pointing at other vendors and accusing them of improper transactions as he was being escorted out.... There will alway's be people who think they are the exception to rules!
