Anyone a member? Please let me know your thoughts on the place.

I'm a former member. If I still lived wetside of the cascades, I'd stay a former member.

So not worth the cost?

Their steels are pretty fun. But generally, I like West Coast Armory North better.

I was a member for a year back in 2013-2014. I liked shooting there because it was rarely busy and the range staff generally stayed out of my hair. The steel targets were fun, but the frangible ammo wasn't cheap and the novelty wore off after a while. Between the expensive membership and the cost of ammo, I decided it wasn't worth the money so I didn't renew. YMMV

I am currently a member and have been for the two years Boeing located my organization to the Bothell/Canyon Park area. I became a member there for convenience to stop by after work, and it's a little closer to home for weekend shooting than WCA North.

Pros:
- Can shoot cast bullets (a huge plus for me as I cast almost all of my bullets)
- Can shoot rifles up to .308 power levels (only 30-30/7.62x39 @ WCA North). I don't but it is an option.
- Can't sweep my brass beyond the firing line (not sure about WCA North)
- Not generally too busy
- 2 free targets every time I walk in
- Staff friendly, but generally leave me alone while I shoot.
- Staff makes guests/new shooters welcome.

Cons:
- More expensive
- Guests pay $20 and I take a lot of new shooters after work.
- Closed Monday (like WCA North)

Boeing is moving us back to Everett next month and I will let my membership lapse. I will use WCA North, despite no cast bullets allowed.
