For those on the fence about joining ISA...

At Wednesday's meeting the Board of Directors:

- Approved the creation of an Archery Special Interest Group and allocated funds to get the program off the ground including targets and a future walking course (a well-developed archery program is one of the things ISA used to offer back in the "good ol' days" and I am extremely pleased to see it return)

- Approved the funds for an automatic gate (huge win!)

- Approved the funds to build a pistol range with two sets of reactive steel targets (a massive win!)

I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but the new north range looks awesome. A little hillside in amongst the trees. It's the honey pit vibe without the drive

New pistol range in a wooded area on the north part of the property. It's sweet!

Yes, north of there. Walk down the roadway at the north edge of the property, you can't miss it.

I'm glad you like it. Please help make sure people are using it responsibly...it would kill me to have to close it down because people were being dicks.

Anyone want to join me for a little bit o' Sunday morning shooting tomorrow? 10am. I don't think Sam is running shotgun so we can go use the north range.

I was just at Interlake with my girlfriend, my brother and my sister-in-law. Met up with Glenn (ISA President) and another Director.

Had a great time shooting a bunch of NFA toys at the North Range.

One of the target racks is assembled...but that's as far as we got.

The ground is frozen and the ambient temperature doesn't lend itself to work parties, pouring/curing concrete or building containment structures.

Check back in a few months.
