Range that allows standing rifle shooting?

Wed Nov 17, 2021 3:58 pm

I'm in Auburn, a little south of Seattle and close to Federal Way for those not familiar with my area. Fairly new to WA and the local ranges, but but wife and I have been shooting for quite a while in CA.

I prefer to practice my rifle (AR-15) shooting while standing and not sitting down at a table with sandbags, does anyone know of a range around me that is open to public that will allow this? Thanks.

“No more than one round in the magazine at the time” rule?
Tnx, but no.
I know that many guys had issues with FWDG store, especially after all those bullshit regulations were implemented, but I still like their indoor range.
Yes, it’s very short distance, mostly good for the handguns.
But I love to shoot my braced .22 AR pistol there.
And, like no one else in the area, they allow rapid fire and Mozambique drill, if you don’t play fool.
Very convenient for HD/room clearing training.
The best part of that is you don't have to be a "member". Just walk in, pay for the lane and plnk.

Yeah, I shot some rifle standing there.....several years ago.

Will never give those idiots another dime though, fuck them.

I don't do public ranges anymore, they're garbage.

Plenty of spots out in the sticks for real shooting.

Wait, this isn't a joke? As in "you are only allowed to load 1 round into your gun's magazine"?!?
That's crazy.

Get on the waiting list for Cascade in Ravensdale. You'll thank me later.

Only Non members have to load one round on the RIFLE range. The Pistol range has no such restriction.
