Hey all! New to this forum, I have posted this on others, but I thought I'd do it here too.
our latest Episode is on .22 Conversions and their benefit to Competition Shooting and training in general.
Episode 22 - .22 Conversions Everyone knows that the price of ammo has soared to an all time high and it's getting a lot more expensive to train using live ammo. One great way for practicing live fire on the cheap, is with .22 rimfire ammo. This week, Steve and Rick discuss options and benefits of training using .22 conversions.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Sorry I have posted updates recently. Here's the latest episode.
Episode 38 - Setting up an IDPA State Match Rick is the Match Director for the 10th Washington State IDPA Championships 2011 and he walks us through what it takes to setup a big, multi-day match like this.
Episode 41 - Celebrating 100 years of the 1911 Rick, Steve and Caleb are huge fans of the 1911 and we just had to dedicate one episode to talk about this venerable handgun design by John Moses Browning.
Episode 42 - Safariland Gear Review Steve is back from his vacation in Spain and sits down with Rick to talk about the awesome gear that Safariland provided us with. Rick talks about his experience using the Safariland 567 holster and duty belt while Steve discusses how he made the excellent Safariland 013 Race holster work for him.
Episode 43 - Sandbagging & Grandbagging We know folks who do this, heck, some of us do it as a career. Rick and Steve take considerable risks to talk about the topic that is considered taboo in IDPA and USPSA. Enjoy!
Episode 44 - Sights and Sighting, Part One Iron sights are the most basic and fundamental sighting system for all manner of firearms from pistols, to rifles, to even canons. This week, in Part One, Rick and Steve discuss the different types of sights that are common in pistol-craft and competition shooting.
Episode 45 - Sights and Sighting, Part Two Iron sights are the most basic and fundamental sighting system for all manner of firearms from pistols, to rifles, to even canons. This week, in Part One, Rick and Steve discuss the different types of sights that are common in pistol-craft and competition shooting.
Great episode. You really did hit the nail on the head when you talked about the trigger being the key. I can't count how many missed shots I have because of poor trigger control. You mentioned the NRA book having nothing but "front sight front sight front sight" on it? Chapter 2 should be about controlling the trigger finger!

Episode 47 - Polymer Guns Rick really doesn't want to be in this weeks episode but Caleb managed to bribe him to sit down and chat about plastic fantastic. The most popular type of firearm for tactical, competitive and self defense use.
