The November Charity Match run by the DownZero crew is a yearly match to promote the awareness of Prostate Cancer. They combine the USPSA stage design principles but with IDPA scoring. It's a fun match for a good cause. If you're male above the age of 40, go get a yearly exam and start tracking your PSA levels. Early detection is the key to survival.

As for my match performance, well, watch the video. Some mistakes here and there but the biggest match breaker for me was my death jam on Stage 5. Sucks when a stuck case comes visiting. That's my 3rd stuck case in my years of shooting.

Wow, looks like a fun match except for the "issues"!

What's the deal with the "racker strike" in Stage 3? Was that a slam fire upon closing the slide? Do you have a sticky firing pin, or some idea of what caused it?

The good news is that your form was textbook good, with the gun level, so the bullet still hit the bern. thumbsup

Swapped my stage plan last minute in bay 1....my second to last stage.

Bad choice. Of course last minute change for me is never good.

Went from a pretty good chance placing high enough for an award to placing 9th in Singlestack. :frust: I'd like to say it wont happen again. :ROFLMAO:

I however, was second in prize table draw.....a prize worth $345.

I'm finally getting fit for RUDY Project prescription shooting glasses. Something I've been wanting to do and putting it off.

They would have helped me in Bay 3 (I left two steel). I got lucky in 7.

thanks! I shot a little bit too early before I could get a good grip and my primary hand thumb was still up. The shot went off, racker hit by thumb and didn't eject the brass. Lucky I still held on to the gun. :)
