I was all in on obtaing an octane 45. Now need to look at this hybrid a little closer.

IMHO, consider that the Hybrid will give you more versatility in one suppressor platform and can fit several firearm combinations. thumbsup

It's very versatile, but a bit heavy for a handgun from what I hear.

Yeah it looks like it's pretty big and heavy for a pistol. I've never shot a suppressed pistol but I'd imagine a hybrid wouldn't be the most fun. I really want one but it's geared more towards rifles imo.

Yeah, I'm waiting on a Hybrid, plan on using it for multiple cal of AR rifles and pistols. Might eventually get set up to run it on my M&P, but that will cost a threaded barrel and piston so we will see.

Maybe this suppressor would not be the most ideal for a handgun due to size and weight, but works perfectly. The pistons will work with other SilencerCO suppressors so that is a plus.

Looks good, Marco! thumbsup

Did you actually shoot it on the Glock? Did it feel heavy?

BTW, you need some suppressor height sights....

Yes, I have shot it on Glock 17, Glock 19 and Glock 22. Works good but you have to match the right ammo in 9mm. Right now, Federal 147 Grain FMJ running good, I am testing others. 40 S&W I am using reloads and factory 180 GR loads and works well. How can you beat a Glock, you can't! :peep:

I have another SilencerCO suppressor in jail (name withheld to protect the innocence :shush: ) so I will wait on the suppressor height sights for now.
No word on that suppressor, MIA which probably be DOA. :facepalm2:

The Hybrid is heavy as it should be due to the range of calibers, also the piston and piston housing with spring is heavy as well so makes it even 'heavier' than 'Pistol' dedicated suppressors I am sure. I did get a chance to hold the DeadAir Ghost 45M, well you heard that story, and it is much lighter respectively.
Still pissed off about that whole situation. :ballchain:

Glock 19 with Hybrid, looks huge

That's a small flag BTW

We will be looking to see your Hybrid in action too. thumbsup

I'm thinking that it may need to debut on the .45-70 at the New Years shoot . . . .

Yes! Bring it on. Will be one of the highlights. Can you believe it been like a year time frame since first tested at SHOT Show? Damn waiting periods for suppressors.... :blackcloud1:
