It’s true.

The Ying on the Yang is that I also helped his FFL fix their eForms account.

My buddy submitted his eForm 4 the day before I did and he got his approval last week. So it could be 4 more days or 4 more months - who knows...

How far apart are your control numbers?

Well, I don't know the answer to that, but my FFL did get an email from eForms this morning saying the LEO Notification section wasn't completed (it was, I oversaw it myself), and I have 72 hrs to correct that. So that would indicate to me that my application is under review - a sign I see as positive.

That's interesting and great news.

Got the approval email this morning. Electronic Form 4 using a trust, submitted 12/22/2022, approved 9/8/2023. A little under 9 months - just in time for hunting season!

Got my approval and picked up my Curtis Tactical integrally suppressed AR45 upper last night. Pics and range report to follow, though not sure how much good a review will do --- between purchase and approval, they sold the company to Shaw Armament which makes similar (but not identical) integrally suppressed barrels & uppers.

Quick report.

The Good: A lot less burning crap thrown back into my face, though this is probably due to the full stock. Points very well now and feels far less toy-like than the braced pistol it started as. MI rail gives me a ton of real estate for a light or better forward handgrip than the little red guy on there now. I will, as parts permit, transition this to a more serious look and ditch the red anodized parts.

The Bad: It's not very quiet. My previous setup with the 6" barrel and Osprey 45 was quieter. Out of a quick 15 rounds (3 mags of 5), I had one where the trigger failed to reset, so perhaps the 10oz buffer is too much for this bigger configuration.

I didn't think I would get Hollywood B movie quiet out of this setup, but I expected to at least get to where it was. From looking down the bore, it's about 40% barrel (so 6-7") and the rest of the 16" is all baffles.

Pretty rifle!

That’s a bummer about the sound level, though. That’s disappointing when you get a dedicated suppresses gun like this.
