Not trying to be the harbinger of bad news, but, It is quite likely that we will see a dramatic slowdown in ATF approval rate as we continue onward from the implementation date of 13 July 2016 for ATF Rule 41F. I can only imagine the volume of applications that inundated the AT submitted just prior to the implementation date. I know of at least one guy (myself) that submitted several Form 4 trust suppressor applications in mid-June and in the first week of July 2016, just prior to the rule implementation date, and beat having to comply with the new trust requirements.
I contacted the ATF branch regarding my recently approved Form 1 SBR e-filing, but will not consider bothering the folks at ATF about my Form 4 filings, since it is likely an exercise in futility. I am just going to let them do their work uninterrupted by my badgering. YMMV. |
