You can buy the Spikes Tactical 37mm flare launcher and bore it out to a 40mm grenade launcher. It's not rifled, but the only rounds you need to spin are HE's. IIRC, the round qualifies as a DD if it contains a certain weight of powder-including the lift charge. You really need to know your stuff to keep within the law if you start making fireworks for your flare launcher.

The biggest problem is a lack of information about reloading. Grog's website is lame to say the least and his cd for sale borders on fraudulant, but its a start...

Note: Although you can own a silencer, it may not be used on a gun.

Correct, this changed last year in Washington state. Silencers (suppressors) may now be legally used.

Excellent, thank you! I've lived in the three states in the last few years; that's three sets of laws to keep track of on top of Federal law. :whatthe:

My Dad wants to buy a M79 "Blooper" Style weapon, Not to sound dumb, but where's a good place to look for one? He intends to buy the "Gun" some non-restricted ammo, and just 1 or 2 "Real" rounds.

Along with that, where is a good place to look at a 20mm Anti-Armor Rifle? Everyone talks about .50's, but I want something bigger.

I'm old enough to remember when you could buy these for under $200. Also the Solothurn with some nice optics for a little more.
Ads were everywhere in all the "Outdoor" magazines, even Popular Science. Don't recall a lot of them being used in crime back then either.

Imported in the 60's deactivated IIRC. Adjusted for inflation, that's roughly $1500 in modern money for the gun, same for the tax stamp, plus costs of reactivating it. Factor the reduced costs of fresh surplus hitting the market, and the current price isn't out of line.
