Anyone able to get on the web site? Been trying since last night for a last minute form 1. I guess it's a no go.

Yeah it's dead. The site came back online around 8:30AM this morning and I was able to login but then it's completely crashed again from the load of everyone else trying. You can bet the same thing will happen again if they manage it get it back online today. Deadline for eForms is 8:59PM PDT (11:59PM EDT) tonight.

If you have a last minute Form 1, then best fill out the paper form and postmark it today!

From the BATFE: https://www.atfonline.gov/EForms/

Quote:
eForms Outage
We have been experiencing issues with the eForms system the past few days. We are working to restore it to service soon, but we do not have an estimated time for return to service.

However, with the changes to the filing requirements resulting from Final Rule 41F (go to the ATF website (http://www.atf.gov) for information) becoming effective on July 13, 2016, you may wish to file a paper application. Please be aware that the effective date is set by the Final Rule and cannot be extended.

A PDF of the form 1 application is available on the ATF website (Firearms forms function) where it can be downloaded and completed to be filed to the address on the form. The form may also be found by clicking on the following link: https://www.atf.gov/firearms/docs/form/ ... 1/download

If the submission is postmarked prior to July 13, 2016, it will be processed under the current requirements. If postmarked on or after July 13, 2016, the new requirements will apply.

ASSISTANCE:
Please direct questions to the OST Customer Support Help Desk at 1-877-875-3723 or Helpdesk-OSTCS@atf.gov.

I have a postage meter here at work... Do I need to run off a few pre-paid envelopes for you suckers?

So, we have made it through all the orders through the 11th and most of the 12th. Over 1200lbs of Form 4's and trusts off to the ATF. Over 2 million dollars in tax stamps alone. This is the largest number of Form 4's ever sent to the ATF in one day, ever!

those of you who just e-filed your forms in the last couple days, dont expect them to come back for about 7-10 months. as for paper, my guess would be around 13-15 months. on the bright side though, those who dont really care/mind/affect and will still buy title II firearms after the whole panic buying dies down, the wait times should go down to only a couple months for paper and a couple weeks for e-file (once they figure that shit out)

still, fucking bastards. :angryfire: :frust:
