Not being an NFA guy yet, this is part of the reason I plan to get a Tavor when I can...avoid all this BS.
Speaking as a "NFA guy", I think a Tavor is a wise choice. You retain the ballistic performance that would be lost with a shorter barrel, and you get the benefit of a more compact OAL as compared to a non-bullpup, but you get none of the hassles that come with ATF paperwork, forming and managing a Trust, or NFA territory in general.

Those Tavor's are pretty cool, I fired one recently. My only complaint is the trigger.... Heavy long pull and reset.

FDE Tavor in .300BLK??!! I could totally get behind that. Otherwise, it's a little heavy even though it's well balanced.
Tavor, AR pistol--fun guns, but an SBR Kriss Vector would be sweet! I've said it before though, the biggest problem I have with NFA is the stupid wait! (How many months have I been waiting for my cans now???)

Back Story. This all came about when an attorney with Northwest Gun Law (the people who do trusts) wrote a letter to dealers with an opinion that Form 2 WA built SBRs were illegal. Again, his opinion. Some dealers have stopped while other such as west coast armory continue. This did not come from the ATF. I am happy to do it for anyone here on the Forum.

Perhaps NW Gun Law will not be my choice of trust when the time comes.

Or perhaps NW Gun Law Group knows what they are talking about and is trying to help dealers avoid headaches later, which would actually be a good reason to support them. I challenge anyone here to read the RCWs and make a legitimate case for a WA Form 2 / Form 4 SBR being legal for civilians. I've studied it, and my opinion is that NW Gun Law Group got it right, by the letter of the law.

What about the spirit/intention of the original SBR law that Rep. Blake put forward?
