Before anyone gets too excited . . . this is for a suppressor, not an SBR.
Congrats, Doc! Now get out there and start drilling!

By the way, I have one that I submitted on 3/31, 22 days after you. I guess that means that mine will get approved in about three months . . . ?

OK, I signed in, opened the file, downloaded the file, and saved the file to my hard drive. Info not in the instructions:
1. Is it okay to print it out with a black-and-white printer (the actual stamp is bluish)?
2. Do I need to keep page 2 (it's the not-filled-in backside of page 1 in real life) with the suppressor, or just page 1 with the picture of the stamp?

I don't know the official answers.
MY personal answers:
1) Yes, I'd use a B&W printer and not worry about it. 2) I only keep a print of the first page in my range bag.

If you submit a paper Form 1 or 4, you have to submit it as one sheet of paper printed on both sides, if you submit it as two sheets of paper, it will get rejected. I'd err on the side of caution and print out both sides, double sided on one sheet of paper.

Here's yer update: Both my 9mm AR-style pistol and my .308 BA rifle have been totally silent since my Form 1 was approved - I haven't shot either of them! Next level of detail down: Step 1 - Buy solvent trap and freeze plugs - doneStep 2 - Get Form 1 approved - doneStep 3 - Cleanout garage enough that I can get to the drill press - pendingStep 4 - Drill parts, engrave tube, assemble can, add to Trust assets, test fire - right after pending has been pendedThe good news: I do now have the permission to build granted by our omnigov (in other words, I'm where I would be if omnigov permission wasn't required at all).

Who would have thought that a cluttered garage would be the last hurdle to clear in making your own suppressor? But seriously, keep us posted! I'm curious to hear how the actual dirty work goes, as I'm considering this myself for a .308 can.
