DVD

I was asked to put together some information on making silencers. This video is for those who have never made a silencer or filled out the tax stamp application before. It covers how to apply for the tax stamp and make parts on a lathe. I also have it on disk ($3) for those who want to watch it on their DVD player. PM me with your address if you would like a DVD.

Only if you have more money than common sense and your balls are where your brains should be.

Hmmm . . . I'd say that's a definite "maybe," bordering on "most likely." jestera

Or a "Possible Perhaps" :D

I've always leaned toward the plastic pop bottle, myself. Not as messy as spuds. ;)

But spuds are easier to eat than a plastic bottle when the feds show up....

Here is how to evaluate the effectiveness of various silencers. Let's say you have a el-cheapo 22lr 1x6 inch can made from aluminum as well as a potato and a soda bottle. Attach each one to a rifle with typical open sights and shoot at a target 50 yards away. Chances are that while all of them will reduce noise enough to be considered a silencer by the BATFE (and the aluminum can very well), the ones with the potato and the soda bottle will probably be zero for fifty on the target.

Silencers made from potatos and soda bottle are complete bullsh-t and anyone that is not a few cans short of a six pack knows this. :)

Now all we gotta do is find a new source for tubes and caps.
