NRA came out and said they feel Bump stocks could/should be regulated. That doesn't mean BANNED. That means the NRA came to the front of this and made a statement to take the focus off of the "big bad NRA", and back onto the event. Regulated could mean taxed/registered/licensed etc. The NRA then called upon the BATFE to re-review their opinion of the bump stock knowing FULL WELL that the BATFE has no authority over such accessories. Deflect, deflect, deflect.. And it worked well. Vegas went quiet, a year later and all we have of this heinous act are a couple states going after the low hanging fruit. Could have been A LOT worse for us.

Every time we get fracked I hear the same statement: It could have been a lot worse for us.
That is the language of surrender. You got to BELIEVE, Big D.

Don't go too far against it, without knowing where the others sit. We want to make sure we dont completely alienate those on the fence. We have a long fight this year. Agreed. Let’s spend our energy fighting off AWB crap. I get it ... but is this essentially saying that if we just give them this little piece of the gun control cake, they’ll let us keep the rest? That’s what I think it is. I think it’s more along the lines of picking our battles. Now that the Dems hold both legislative chambers and the governor’s office, we will have a lot of incoming fire. And only so many resources to defend against it. This is a battle we can lose to fight another day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There is still hope that this will fail going much farther. A Few Dems are not impressed with any of the bills being proposed... http://tdn.com/news/local/takko-and-bla ... 60cfd.html

I know that WaGunners are predominantly Republican and are fairly anti-Democrat, but throughout this process we need to show our appreciation to Brian Blake and any other Democrats that stand up to this gun control nonsense. In today's ultra-partisan environment, it takes some serious brass balls to give your party the finger on an issue like this, and we need to respect those that do.

Kudos to law makers who vote their conscience & the will of their constituents, rather than along party lines!

I am thinking more and more about moving to South Dakota. Better politics, better hunting, cheaper cost of living. And a lot fewer liberal pussies
