No idea on the 1903's, (they weren't consecutive numbers, were they?) but that Beretta may cleanup pretty well with Kroil or some other Oil and some 0000 steel Wool.

The way I find prices in the real world is by going to GunStroker and search the listings that ended. Then look again at those that actually SOLD. i.e. http://www.gunbroker.com/item/715397349

After all of these years I finally have convinced him to go shooting with us.

I saw some of those sitting on tables for over $400 at a gun show a couple weeks ago.

I have seen very nice ones sell for 1000 and pretty crappy ones for 300. I also saw two at the show in Centralia. One pretty nice one for 400 and a crappy one for 450 I think. I was surprised they were still there, but the market is funny right now. Mine is a nice shooter and should be worth about 600, but again the market is funny. They are a lot of fun, but the caliber is not that popular. They also made them in .380, but I have not seen many. The one in your picture is a tad nicer than mine. The small parts are supposed to be nitre blue. I have only seen one that still had it in tact. Most these were build in the 10s and 20s and are sweet little pistols. I believe they were issued to military officers also. Mine is a 409 serial and made in 1922. Yours was made in 1919. https://www.colt.com/Customer-Services/ ... ber-Lookup
