My neighbor has a pink framed Walther PK380 that he had bought for his ex to shoot. She's out of the picture and he'd prefer to not have a pink gun. Can you buy just the plastic grip frame separately for those pistols? If not, suggestions for dying or coating the polymer frame a different color?

Mike, I bet you could just buy some dye and color the frame. Or just embrace the Pink big fella. :wink05:

No seriously it'a my neighbor's gun. Every time I show my wife a pink gun at the gun shows she says "gay!"

I saw the advice about shoe dye. Just hoping he might be able to buy a replacement frame in case that didn't work out.

Any coating is just that, a coating. The polymer is pink to the bone.

People have successfully used Rit dye to color their AR mags. No risk of flaking.. this is probably your best bet.

Is he opposed to selling it? That seems a lot easier than trying to change the color.
