.458 Socom... Who's built one?

I have an extra lower sitting on my bench, and I need something to do with it so I'm thinking about building a .458 Socom plinker. No real need, I know the ammo is expensive, but I don't need another .223/5.56/.300/x39 & I want something different..
Just wanted to put a feeler out to see what kind of setup you have. Ive been mulling over the Radical Firearms and Rock River so far.. _________________ Yes I Do Have A Beautiful Daughter.. I Also Have A Gun, A Shovel, & An Alibi |

How about converting that extra lower into a 9mm platform?

450 Bushmaster closest I got. Shoot same pills as 45ACP and 45LC so a bit more economical. Working on a subsonic load. Fun stuff!

Ive got one. Its a fun caliber. I have mine as a SBR. I got the barrel from Tormix who is the guy who developed it. I also have a suppressor for it.
Its fun slinging heavy bullets (405gr normally) downrange. I reload for it so its nice sharing bullets with my 45-70. Its a fun caliber thats for sure. I dont shoot it often though |

Go to Tromix to get your bolt, barrel, and upper from the man the built first ones. Built a 12.0” and can swap between pistol and sbr lowers.
