Yes...you have to head shoot it with a suppressed .45 though.

Seriously, unless you're about to buy a gun knock it off with the mental masturbation. You've been presented with all of the viable options. Shit or get off the pot. We don't need another opinion based ego stroking shit fest of a thread.

You've been told. Buy.

Dude, I don't know if you noticed but there's something stuck on the end of your 1911. Is that a factory defect...?

No I did that to it myself. I didn't like the little round screw on thing, so I put that cool thing on it. It reduces the recoil and muzzle jump so I can put multiple shots off-target in rapid succession. I took a picture because I figured people would wonder what it was.

I shot it a bit, and discovered I'm a horrible shot. I hope that by the time I'm 1/2 of the way through the case I'll be better.

Ha! I'm just messing with you man. Nice pistol! The comp isn't really my style but I know they're effective on rifles and I'm sure they help on pistols too. Looks to me like it's time to go buy a .45 cal suppressor for your new toy. Hmm?

My .22 rifle and .22 pistol are both threaded. I have 2 lowers, 1 ready to be made into a 300blk.

I think that an Osprey .45 and a Sparrow .22 are both on the list of things to buy. Much rather have a supressor over a cheesy comp.

Those sound like great choices!

It depends on how much gas the load generates. The fast powders don't really generate enough gas to make a comp valuable, but it can really help with other loads.
