Easy guys. Have any of you been to CAR since Fred departed? I know we are all very quick to defend “one of our own” and that makes it real easy for us to interpret intentions, even for the wrong.

This guy comes to WaGuns and makes a post, your response should be Welcome to WaGuns.

New ownership has definately changed for the better. As good as fred is he could never finish when he said he would. Projects are moving out the door on time, they have new firearms in stock and parts on the shelf.

It sounds like the other gunsmiths sabotaged Fred. So the other smiths weren't doing their jobs and now they are?

I don't get it. did the other partner hire more people now? your first post is definitely wishy washy.

fred wasn't rich but the new guy is?

Let me quote Fred from earlier in the thread:

Let's all take the high road on this. There are always two sides to every story, and we don't need to nail down a bad guy here.

CAR got all my gunsmith business, which wasn't a lot but it was regular. They always did an outstanding job, if not a timely one (the Browning HP they rebuilt is the crown jewel of my safe). I know Fred suffered from a similar back problem as my wife...and it was unbelievable debilitating and painful and yet he never stopped working his magic.

I wish him all the luck in the world....and my only request is he move further north (my garage in Bothell???).
