Did you check the headstamp? Are you sure you have the product that you ordered?

What is the law regarding interstate sale of Texas ammo that's bern in the flood? Just by looking at the ammo (assume it is sold as bulk reman), how could you tell?

Looks right. cmica wrote: AR15L wrote: I'll take them off your hands to properly dispose of for you. As I care for your well being. It's definitely not rust, and it doesn't wipe off.

Those almost look like they sat too close to spilled vinegar or ammonia. In a process called fuming, you can artificially age brass with an accelerant like vinegar or ammonia. I'd imagine if the case sat long enough above a puddle of spilled vinegar or ammonia it could etch the brass like that.

I'd still be miffed to receive any ammo labeled as "Match" that's newly manufactured. I have some OOOOOLD Lake City Match ammo in .30-06 that looks better than that.

It's just tarnished, but I agree fgmm should not show up looking like that. Contact the seller and let them know you're unhappy. Maybe you'll get a credit or some kind of reimbursement to make things right.

I'm surprised it even made it to you at all. I figure NJ would have confiscated it, and the only thing you recieved was a notice of your impending extradition.

It's very obvious thst this think tank does not a lot of experience with Federal manufactured ammo. This pictured ammo is just fine. This is typical productipn ammo from federal. Has got nothing to to with the ammos travel or suspecyed exposure to moisture. Go ahead and shoot away. If your rifle likes it, it will be good to go. My rifle prefers the 168 grain though.

I've seen Lake City ammo that looked like that but not Federal Gold Medal Match, its always been bright and shinny out of the box.
