Does anyone have info on this event?
The RFGC website gives absolutely no information about this??? (no info on any of their events in fact)

I would like to find out the basics
1) Start time?
2) Caliber restrictions, what's most common? I'm thinking of bringing my S&W Victory (22lr)
3) Cost?
4) How long do the matches typically last?

If I don't hear anything here, I'll most likely just show up at 9ish tomorrow morning.

Thanks in advance
Pete

It's an old listing, but should herlp.
If you look through the Steel Challenge site, it should give you the rules, guns, calibers allowed, etc...

I have shot this a few times and will give you what I know. Start time is 1000am but registration starts about 9. You can shoot more than 1 gun and I recommend it because you will have more fun at the end of the day and less waiting. No caliper restrictions. Show up with what you think you can shoot knowing that each stage has at least 5 steel targets and you shoot 5 times each stage so 25 round minimum per stage. Typically 5 stages. Bring 200 rounds per gun to be safe. A magazine that holds 8-10 minimum is a plus and 3 magazines per gun minimum would be beneficial. Cost I think was 15$ plus 5$ for each additional gun but please don't quote that. Normally done between 2-4pm depending on amount of people that show.

Most importantly...show up, have fun, learn a few things, and go home a better shooter.

This was my first time shooting steel at RFGC. I shot the ASI event on Sat, so it was a busy weekend of shooting. Pete, what squad were you on? Ever make it down to the Paul Bunyan steel? I need to find some northern end events.
