Currently two types in WA: LCCP (License to Carry Concealed Pistol), and CPL (Concealed Pistol License). LCCP begins with a letter like F or E, CPL begins with issuing agency like TCP for thurston. I'm confused. Why are you telling them their CPL is no good? Because it isn't laminated? No because they let it get too messed up to read critical info off the CPL like the number. Lamination is not required, but people don't take care of their documents like they should. I still have my unlaminated SSN card from 1961 that is perfectly usable. 1961? Wasn't that the year the first SSN cads were issued?

Y'all better listen to Chuck. I witnessed a man have difficulties today as he was having a pistol transferred to him in a sale at a FFL. The FFL couldn't clearly read the expiration date. The FFL said it looked like a 5 on the end, meaning 2015. The buyer said it was expiring in 2018. The man received a "delayed" from NICS in the end.
Why did the state ever think it was wise to make the expiration date in the corner of paper? In FL and LA, we had hard photo ID card for CWP and CPL.

Remember we pay $10 per year to carry, criminals carry for free.

When I got my first permit from Pierce County several years ago it was the "large" edition that barely fit in my wallet. I don't understand why this state won't transfer the process completely to DOL: I have a heart on my driver license indicating I am an organ donor. Why can't they slap a small image of a pistola next to it, indicating this beautiful state is graciously allowing me to carry a concealed firearm?! And another benefit of the all-in-one license, they expire at the same time. Simplify renewal process and fees. Hell, why not give people to option to add an image of a boat, as a previous poster pointed out the boating license doesn't expire.
