Am I the only one that had no idea Ruger was producing a 10mm 1911?

Saw one yesterday at Cabelas. Didn't know they existed. With friends and family going on today knock 10% off. Love my sr1911 in 45

I still have a NIB .45 Ruger SR 1911 I haven't fired yet, took it as a trade.

I have a LW Commander length SR-1911 for carry. Nice fitting with average finish.

I'm only surprised by the combination of appointments. Reverse plug and slight softening up front but, not front strap checkering. The grip safety is only fitted for function and not aesthetics. That front sight base looks big enough to take a few hits and definitely not chosen for the looks.

Loved my SR1911. For the money they are very tough to beat. Not sure why I'd need one in .40 though.
