I am not much of a semi-auto fan. Old cosmoline scented wood and a bolt action is more my style.
Back about 5 years ago I purchased one of those fancy contraptions that keeps on shooting each time you pull the trigger without having to manually operate the bolt.

This could also go in the thread of "Guns I have but haven't yet shot." I intend on bringing this little number up to the big NorthEnd Clean-n-Shoot on the 20th to pop its cherry.
This is the feature that gets the most interest in these guns... 100 round helical magazines. Load them on Monday and shoot all week. Note the rear sight is part of the magazine.

There is a 3rd position on the safety that doesn't seem to function. Let's remove that damned Hughes Amendment.

Of all the interesting little features this Tool of Freedom has, the adjustable sight is my favorite. The knob on the left raises the front sight up and down and the knob on the right moves it left and right.

The magazines.... Load them either manually or with a mechanical loader (I still need to buy one of those), wind that handle you see in the pic (23 rotations) and she's ready for action.

There are indications that some of the magazines need to be tweaked to get them to operate properly. I'll link a couple of articles below. In one of the articles that 100 rd mag was horrid, and the 50 worked like a champ. Other people have had zero issues with the 100 rd mags. I'll find out which version mine are when I finally shoot the thing.
The optics mounts are "interesting" in a strange way. I'm not sure that I'd ever put optics on a 9mm carbine, but I have these in case I decide to. I picked these up recently and they have spotty surface rust on them, so I'll be stripping them down and giving them a new coating.

There are people who hate this gun and people who love it. People have had horrid reliability issues, and others who have had flawless functioning. Maybe they require tweaking or modifications to fall into the latter category... Let's find out on the 20th whether this one will work right out of the box.

Everytime I see one of these I think of the movie "Spaceballs".

Yeah, those are pretty cool . . . if I find one at the right price, I want it.

The .22 version would be fun, too.

For The Balrog, yes.

I know a place that has a 9mm one hanging from the wall. There is a problem with it though. The latch that holds the stock in place is damaged and I don't know if there's an easy fix for it.

As of recently there was one - I believe an M100 in .22LR - on the wall at Mountain Hwy Surplus in Spanaway. Give them a call.

The fact that the optional brass catcher looks like a black ballsac only accentuates that effect.

I like to build things... Could find some peach colored cloth I guess. It'll look especially cute to squeeze that brass catcher to check how full it is.

If any of you guys actually end up obtaining one of the .22 version...I've got a brand new mag spring that I'll donate. I had 1 a while back that came to me with a broken spring. Ordered up a couple and forgot about it when I sold the gun.

Yeah, send me the spring. Pack the Martini Henry in there with it to protect the spring.

I had one and it ran perfect as soon as I lubed the gun and magazine. The size of 147 grain would not load though. Bullet shape just didn't work. 115 grain were perfect for me.
