Kind of a cool idea if you want to upgrade your .22 takedown. I didn't watch the video, but I wonder if you have to have a tax stamp for this? I can see more add on features like this coming to .22 takedowns in the future. Why not, easy add to the gun.

Yes, this will require a stamp. And with an MSRP of $629, that will put retail at $500-550, plus your tax stamp.

I've been waiting for this from Ruger. All the other integrally-suppressed 10/22 barrel offerings from third-party manufacturers cost several hundred dollars + the tax stamp, and that doesn't even include the rest of the gun.

The baffle design is...interesting.

I don't think this includes the gun either? I think it's just the barrel for $500+ or did I miss it?

What's nice is since the barrel is welded to the can, the rifle won't be considered an SBR as the total 'barrel' OAL is over 16".

And don't need ATF approval to travel to another state (as you do with a SBR).

Doh! You're right, it is just the barrel. Nevermind what I said...the price seems in line with other offerings.
