How do you feel about the white phosphor as compared to the traditional green? I've been considering a night vision purchase lately and the white phosphor looked interesting. Is it like viewing the world in black and white?

I would love to get a good bump helmet and mounted NV for SAR. But that is some expensive tech.

Nice rig spikele.

Well worth it to me. It adds another 12 plus hours to your available recreation time, or the huge tactical advantage. Way more of a game changer than the type of rifle you have.

It also is a whole other world at night. Most animals behave quite differently, humans included, because they think they you can't see them. They tend to stand still instead of run and hide like in the day.

The tactical advantage of good night vision is off the chart. That's why they do raids like the one on Osama Bin Laden on moonless nights. Only those with the night vision and thermal devices can see anything. Fighting the blind, or being invisible, is a hell of an advantage.

And speaking of thermal. I'm saving up for an IR Patrol thermal device.

Shoot, the Leopold tro is amazing thermal! Thermal takes IR all day long if you can afford it. Definitely worth saving for!
