Found this for $299, multiple years, comes with a Yugo barrel also. I think all I would need is a receiver and various rivets. Trying to figure out if it is worth putting one together or finding one already done.

I have done 6 rivet builds. I can tell you that by the time you buy a receiver and the 922 parts it's not worth the effort.
When kits were 99.00 bucks it was worth it, not any more.

Can you do them yourself or you need special tools? How much are the parts needed to complete them?

Depends on the receiver. I have two going now. I went with the 80% and will likely bail and buy a nodak spud. I finally got the rails in and now have to heat treat. Complete pain in the ass. And you will need to head space and pin the barrel. Easy to fuck up. Plus machine the relief cut for the extractor if that's not done. If you love to tinker, go for it. If you don't have decent mechanical ability, just buy one. Prices will continue to drop.

Good to know, I thought it would be about another $300 or so to do it, and no, I can barely change my own oil!. =)

Also, make sure that the seller will ship to Washington, if they're not local. Many will not sell kits to WA because of the fire control group components.

Yeah, not to mention it's a Romanian parts kit with a Yugo barrel. Headspace issues may crop up and are not easy to correct.
It just isn't worth it to build one anymore unless it's for the satisfaction.
I say pass and buy a complete rifle.
