Where is the best = cheapest place to pick up a spam can opener?

To be honest, I've never checked the gun shows so that's a possibilty (next weekend).
Any other places recommended?

Got one.

Those things are horrible to use. Last can I opened I used a small hammer and 2" chisel. Worked like a charm

That's all I've used. I just thought an openner would do better, no?

I think the openers work ok... No doubt that they are a pain.
I've used the hammer/chisel method too and prefer the openers. You kind of get in a rhythm and they roll right along.
I'll bring one when I come up if you're still looking sir.

It's all in being patient. If you go slow and make sure each cut is right... it's easy.

But it's easier to get someone else and just watch like I typically do. I "give" the honor of opening a piece of history to someone at the range.

Here you go, no opener required.

An angle grinder along that seam is much easier though.

That's a new one on me. I like.

Rick, I've heard that you can shoot the top off. Please share video.

Does that actually work? I've always kind of wondered but I don't shoot the corrosive mil stuff any more.
