"Remington breech loading rolling block rifle."
I have a 26ft bayliner I value at at least 1250 I'm selling here in the everything else section. A guy offered that rifle above in trade. Any suggestions on its value? See pic. Thanks!

Well I didn't sleep in a Holiday Inn last night so this isn't worth much.... GunBroker shows Rems from $500 to a couple at $2-3k. Most under $1k. I'm guessing that one has been horribly re-stocked so I would guess it is on the lower end of pricing, just a guess. Many people report they should shoot hand loads due to some ammo sizing changes in the early 1900s. Sounded legit but I don't have any real knowledge.
I know a bit about boats tho, this is a slow time currently . I have a nice GlasPly with new engine and drive, priced too cheap and still only get flakes and dipshits responding. If the rain ever quits, things should pick up quickly. Your trailer should be worth the 1200 if brakes and bearings are in operable condition. The Volvo OD ought to be worth $500 or more geared for a V8. Is the transom, stringers and whatnot ok or soft? What is actually wrong with the engine?
I know the rifle takes up less room than an old tarped BBoat so there is that. :)
