I'm pushing 6.8 grs with 158 lead bullets on a 6" barrel @ 1150 fps. (*my +P load for the .357 magnum) It'll be fine.
if I don't reply back after this week-end, I'm giving Steve and Dan my Remington 7mm Express, Jam-o-matic. You guys can part it out.

Today I discovered that Hodgdon data is published at "Lawyer levels" (Protect the company) I was shooting .357 magnum- 148 SWC gr bullets at the maximum published data for CFE Pistol powder (for 146 wad cutters) at 5.0 grains (max published) and getting an average of 780 fps. GAHHH!
Bumped it up to 6.5 grs and will try that next time out, Friday at 3pm. You just noticed that the Lawyers edit load data?? Go old school. Load up until you start seeing headstamp lettering start to disappear on your .357 brass. In reality you'll need to tone it down a little unless you're using gas checks. You're on the right track though, keep adding until you either get your desired speed or flat primers and difficult case removal from the cylinder. If lead becomes a problem, gas checks. I used to use 14+ grains of Alliant 2400 in my old 686 6" .357 using jacketed 158gr. That sucker hurt on both ends.

The Long Range Silhouette match at Seattle Rifle & Pistol (Snohomish, WA) is happening tomorrow. There's a $10 fee and is open to the public. I'm planning on attending and will be shooting a CZ 455 Varmint Precision Trainer with Athlon Argos BTR 8-34x56 and SilencerCo Spectre II. So bring out your rigs and shoot the match. http://seattlerifle.org/event-2278070?CalendarViewType=1&SelectedDate=2/24/2017

Considering doing another run to Issaquah to sight in my Crusader with Holosun ACSS.
Anyone know a decent range that's closer to Lynnwood? At least a 50yard rifle range?

AR15 pistols (or any pistol for that matter) are not approved on the Public Rifle range last I heard. SBR's are ok though.

I like to do 3-5 shot groups so having to load 1 round at a time is a real pain.

Anyone know a decent range that's closer to Lynnwood? At least a 50yard rifle range? I refuse to go to Kenmore, they are their own worst enemy, far more than SJW types that live around them. Anyway...the Everett Sportsman's Club is good with a 100yd range. 3 round limit after you show the range master you aren't an idiot. Their hrs are funky and they do close sometimes due to flooding so check the website before heading out there.
