Remember when the ATF suddenly decided that 7N6 5.45x45 ammo was armor-piercing handgun ammo and needed to be banned from importation? Well, apparently that decision did more than piss people off. It also cost PW Arms (from Redmond) a lot of money. http://www.guns.com/2015/12/24/ammo-ban ... suit-says/Quote: P.W. Arms, Inc., a wholesaler in Redmond, filed suit against the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in a Seattle federal court on Dec. 18. The lawsuit alleges the ATF incorrectly classified the ammo 7N6, a 5.45x39mm rifle round, as “armor piercing” and in turn prohibited it from importation after permitting the company to do so. Good luck to PW Arms. I hope they thrash the ATF.

Good luck. The government never runs out of time, money, or lawyers.

We've built a society and system where our own tax dollars are used to create institutions that oppress us, such as the ATF, IRS, etc.
Then when we fight them in court, our own tax dollars are literally used against us in paying for their legal fees and lawyers.
It's enough to drive one mad.

Well, it looks like PW Arms lost another battle: Court issues final decision on distributor’s 7N6 importation challengeGuns.com wrote: Almost a year after issuing a summary judgment dismissing large portions of the lawsuit, a Seattle federal court filed a final decision to dismiss the case alleging ATF overreach by a Washington gun distributor.
The federal court handed down the decision last week against P.W. Arms, which argued it lost $3 million when the ATF authorized it to import a specific type of Russian ammunition right before prohibiting it. Assholes.

Jerks. Because there are so many ak74u parts kits that are being turned into pistols....but its totally ok to have a stock on it.
It's it a prerequisite to have a severe traumatic brain injury to be able to work for the atf?

ATF should be a convenience store, not a government agency.

I'd like to see a change in the law that both criminalizes and holds those politicians or leaders personally criminally and financially liable for things like this.
Tax payers are the victims of all of this. Take this case.
* ATF bans ammo (or other examples are magazines, I594, etc). We Americans have our freedom encroached. * We have to sue, in order to fight to restore our rights. So, someone has to come up with the money and it's generally the folks who care about that right they lost. * We are basically suing ourselves because it's our money defending the lawsuit (ATF, government lawyers, etc.). * Where does it get resolved? In a tax payer funded fancy courthouse and by a Judge on the tax rolls. * YEARS go by, and these suits costs millions of dollars.
American tax payers lose no matter the outcome. At best, we get our rights back but spend a LOT of money and time doing so.
