So i got to go test out my new P220 today

and upon trying the stock mags with the 45acp mags i was able to determine the 10mm mags that ship with the pistol were not cut correctly thus causing the mag relese to catch upon insertion

** updated to add the 10mm mags do not have the mag release indentation that the other p220 mags have **

I also tried the 45acp magazines and they work flawless with 10mm rounds. they hold 8 just fine and not once did i have a fte or ftl. the 10rd mags are a different story. i couldnt get them to load reliably unless i only put 6-7 rounds in them.

i would rely more on the 45acp mags over the 10mm since they glide in smoothly like they should.

I did not have any promag mags so I dont know how they will work. but they could be a nice range mag if they work like the sig 45's

regular trigger went in easy as you would expect

If you didn't, the magazine catch spring would be too wimpy. That would increase the chances of the magazine releasing when you didn't want to.

Seating a magazine isn't a gentle operation. Slam it home.
