This conversation is very unsatisfying.

Went and picked this up. Now have to take it apart, get the upper and all upper parts and send it off for ceracote. Best part is, my daughter thinks it's a build I'm working on for a friend and not hers.

Hahaha you think this hasn't already crossed my mind? So many reasons for a 22! Ammo is cheap, it might help me stop anticipating recoil (since there isn't any), I have 16 other nieces and nephews..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I highly recommend having a .22 for your own training and practice, exactly for the reasons you listed. The ability to teach others with it is a huge bonus.

Do they let you see into the future? If not, I`m not interested.

Inger19 wrote: Brand suggestions? [emoji2] Oh, there are a lot of them out there and it mostly comes down to personal preference. I've always been a big fan of my Walther P22 because it feels like a "combat-style" handgun to me, just smaller. More recently I bought a Ruger SR22, which is very similar but I think is a better gun . . . so I'd suggest taking a look at the SR22. http://www.ruger.com/products/sr22Pistol/models.htmlMore in the target pistol realm is the Ruger MkIV. This pistol and its predecessors are extremely popular, and are very easy pistols to shoot. http://www.ruger.com/products/markIV/overview.htmlThere are others out there, of course. There are also .22 conversions for some pistols, including probably for your Glock (I don't remember which model you have?). The conversions have a cool factor, but personally I'd just buy a separate gun -- the price difference isn't that much, and it's always better to have an additional gun, especially when shooting with a friend.

Thanks! I've fired a couple of Walthers lately and really liked them so I'll be taking a close look at those. And I have a 19 and my boyfriend keeps telling me to just get a conversion, but I'm with you. More guns=more guns LOL. Thanks again [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
